ADULTS
Anyone can learn karate.
Karate is suitable for men and women alike.
It can be practiced by the young and young-at-heart.
As a traditional martial art it is designed to be a lifelong practice which develops and enhances the skills of each individual over the course of a lifetime.
You don't have to be fit, supple and athletic before you start. All these qualities will improve over time with your training.
Karate does not rely on strength. In fact "shukokai" means "way for all". Self-defence has many aspects - conflict avoidance, physical evasion, the use of effective striking techniques, the use of pressure points, manipulation and locking techniques, groundwork, grappling and so much more. There is something for everyone.
